one month..

June 21st, 2011 (really 22nd)

shes not thrilled to be one month!

yesterday my baby was one month.. but I forgot to take her picture.. and when our house guests arrived.. my mind was focusing on the 5 babies under 3 running around.. and 3 of them were newborns.. :0

and shockingly.. it went off without a hitch.. no babies woke other babies up and no toddlers fought over toddler toys.. it was good! there are absolutely zero pictures to post of the night.. because like I said.. there were 5 babies running around ;)

yesterday was Brixtons one month birthday.. I decided to skip the “4 weeks” and just go for the 21st date.. cause I had a feeling it would get confusing if I tried ;) we are sloooowly crawling out of the eat.. poop. sleep stage.. and there is a lot more looking around.. a couple little coos have escaped from her tiny little body.. and a lot more smiles.. she is loving her own bed.. in her own room.. with her own space.. it is crazy.. I tried to do the “make lots of noise” around her.. and she was having none of it.. this special little soul likes her own environment.. 

as for the mama.. I am starting to feel human again.. I can get off the couch without wondering where my abs went.. I can walk to Bostons without cramping and pain.. and Dustin is actually getting some home cooked meals ;) I milked that one as long as possible.. I feel like I can start getting out of the house without crapping out and needing a nap! life is good..
